Self-Care Sunday: Catch Your Breath

Who else had a crazy, busy week? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️It was a good week- don’t get me wrong. It was just one thing moved into the next thing 😬and the next thing 🙄and-well, you get it!😉

Looking into the upcoming week, the load doesn’t get any lighter. My daughter and I are headed to the Jonas Brothers concert in Tulsa this evening. There’s the usual workweek grind that includes full days with work, marketing, cooking, laundry, homework, etc. You know the drill. Throw into the mix a couple volleyball games, a Homecoming Parade, a football game followed by a dance, another full day volleyball tournament, and those are just the things I know of at this point. I don’t know about you but there are always things that pop up unexpectedly. Always! I don’t know why I haven’t figured that out yet. I’m always surprised when something is added to my schedule at the last minute. It always happens. Why am I still surprised?

That’s why I decided to stay home on Friday night to watch the high school football 🏈 game streamed from the stadium in my pajamas while my husband and I ate cookies 🍪 and folded laundry. 👚👖

It was just what I needed to reset. I needed to straighten my path to move forward. 🙌🏻

Self-Care Sunday tip- take some time to catch your breath every now and then. You’ll be glad you did.
