Purposeful Training

I’m not sure that I’ve ever had this much fun with training. Seriously. Fun and training don’t tend to fit in the same sentence. Sitting for hours of training for a new initiative at work typically feels more like punishment. Even though I enjoy a long run, training in a cold rain isn’t my idea of a good time. Training for my Peach business, though, has turned out to be a whole lot of fun!

The focus of Peach as a company is to be a force for good in the lives of women by helping them thrive personally and professionally. As a new Peach gal, that same force for good is evident in the training. The readings are clear and well written. The videos feel more like a chat with a friend. The sense of help and support oozes from the website. I look forward to continuing my training as I grow my business. It is purposeful, engaging, and-well- peachy!Screen Shot 2018-03-29 at 7.42.53 PM

A favorite thing about my Peach connection is their genuine interest in helping me thrive as a person. As a part of the initial training, I was asked to take an assessment that would reveal my strengths. The idea to use my signature strengths as the backbone of my success. Peach wants me to discover my best self, which will help me provide the best service in my business. It’s not about changing myself to fit in. It’s about using my own amazing characteristics.

Opening my strength assessment results brought a big smile to my face. My top strength is LOVE, which is something that my family and I knew all along. It was empowering to realize that I am working with a company that values my strengths as unique and essential- the very things that set me apart from the rest of the world.IMG_8066

You don’t have to take an assessment like I did, but give it some thought. What do you think might be your signature strength? Maybe curiosity. How about bravery? You might even have spirituality or creativity strengths. Whatever your superpower, use it. Own it. BE it!
