Oh my goodness! Don’t you just love delivery day? When I receive the delivery notice in my email, I want to race home and head straight to my porch. Even though I know exactly what’s inside the box, I still feel like a kid on Christmas morning! I’m one of those people who takes forever to unwrap packages. You know the type. Slowly cutting the tape on the outside of the box. Carefully pulling the sticker on the tissue as if I’m going to reuse it. Then, I look at each item one at a time, turning it over in my hands to feel the fabric and inspect each detail. There’s just something special about receiving a package- even the ones we purchase. It’s a gift that we give ourselves and there’s nothing wrong with that!
Go ahead–treat yourself! When your delivery day arrives, you may be like me and take your sweet time unwrapping your goodies. Or- you might be the kind of person who rips that baby open and pulls those new leggings on for the day. It doesn’t matter how you do it. Just get that box open and rock that new outfit!
