I don’t know about you, but I think life has been pretty 🌀weird lately. It isn’t bad- just 🌀weird. I don’t know a better word for it. There’s no way to predict the things that are going to happen throughout the days recently. There’s also no way to even imagine some of them. People getting 💉vaccine information from rapper Nicki Minaj. Google it- I’m not going there. Kids destroying and stealing school 🏫property because of a TikTok challenge. There are so many 🌀weird little things that have happened to friends, family, and me during the days that I’ve lost count. Just when I think I’ve heard it all, something even 🌀weirder comes along.
Weird, I’m telling you. Is it just me? Are you experiencing 🌀weirdness, too? I look around at the 🌎world and can’t believe what I see. Every single day, there seems to be something 🌀weird, and it doesn’t seem to slow down. I have a friend who says that the daily greeting should be ‘good 🍀luck’ rather than ‘good ☀️morning.’
There’s 🌀weirdness- no doubt about it. If you’re taking medical advice from a rapper, please talk to your doctor instead. To the kids destroying property at schools, stop. ❌Just stop! It’s your school, so take some pride in it.
Sometimes, 🌀weird is good. It’s good when it’s 😍quirky because quirky makes it 💕special. But this isn’t the kind of 🌀weird I’m talking about. This time around- weird is just strange. 😬Upsetting. 😥Sad. Maybe even a little 😱frightening if you think of how it affects the big picture of life. It doesn’t have to be this way, you know. There are plenty of 🎉awesome things happening in the world, too. Things that should take the 🌟spotlight away from the weird ones. How about athletes who train hard for a 🥇win? Students who create beautiful 🎨art or write incredible 📝essays. Bosses who say 😊thank you. Drivers who let you pass and 👋🏻wave as you go by. Husbands who clean the kitchen. Friends who greet you with 😀smiles. Children who text just to see how your day is going. 🐶Dogs who lay at your feet.
So, what do we do about the 🌀weirdness? 🤔Ride it out, hoping it will change? Actively put something positive out there to replace it? Work through it- even when it seems like too much? I don’t have the answers, but I’ll offer the route I’m taking through this. ➡️If you can’t see anything except for the 🌀weird in your life, 👀look harder. There is still 💕goodness out there. We can’t let the 🌀weirdness consume us. What if…we tame the weird? Take control of what you can to make it better. If we all do our part, it will be the goodness that shines through. Good luck!💖
