I’m a sucker for a good quote.😍 I search for them when I’m reading. Products with quotes always catch my eye. There are many 👚 shirts in my closet and ☕️ mugs in my cupboard with words on them. But I saw a quote the other day that stuck with me.
“Look around you. Appreciate what you have. Nothing will be the same in a year.”
I’m a believer in the whole notion of appreciating what you have.🥰 But the part that really got to me was the last line. Nothing will be the same in a year.

That seems 👽 ominous and 🥳 hopeful at the same time, doesn’t it? It’s also true. Nothing will be the same in a year. For better or worse, things change. That’s one thing we can count on.
Looking back on my own life, I couldn’t have guessed what life would be like right now.🤷🏻♀️ I had plans and ideas, just like everyone else. Some of those intentions happened just as I imagined. 👍🏻 Others weren’t even on my radar.
I think the point is this: what are we waiting for? 👀 Look around. Appreciate what you have. Wear the new 👠shoes. Don’t save the 👗 dress for some special occasion. Eat the 🍰 dessert. Stay up late. Read the 📚book. Learn a skill. Start a hobby. Take a walk in the ☀️sunshine.
Nothing will be the same in a year, and there’s freedom in that knowledge. So don’t continue to look at life in the same way. It’s not a 🏃🏻♀️sprint. Give yourself permission to live and enjoy every moment!💖
