When people learn about my greeting card business, I get a couple of very different responses. Word Sunshine☀️cards have only words on the outside and blank spaces inside. 💌 I created them that way for a reason. I want people to do more than sign their names on a card. ✍️ I want them to use creativity and words to truly connect. That blank space is there on purpose.😍
Some people love that idea. Creatives typically have the supplies to paint or draw already. 🎨 The blank cards offer them a chance to share their art. They have more than enough ideas brewing in their heads to get started.
Then, there are those people who think filling up a blank greeting card is overwhelming. 😬 Buying a preprinted card with a small spot for the signature and another word or two –nothing fancy — is their go-to option. I get it. I feel the same way sometimes.🙋🏻♀️
But I really want to inspire connection, compassion, and creativity! 💕 We need to make sure people know that they matter to us. 💘 And, as simple as it sounds, I believe a personalized greeting card has the power to make someone’s day. 🥰
