I’ve been a little busy for the last few months. You see, I’ve had this idea percolating in my brain for quite a long time. I don’t know about you, but I have boxes of greeting cards, notes, drawings, and keepsakes. You can’t hold onto everything, right? But certain things are worth saving.
I probably have every card my husband has ever given to me. I kept notes from my kids, starting with the scribbles and moving through the years with more thoughtful, sentimental messages. I saved the ones that bring a smile, a laugh, or even a tear. The ones that represented special moments. The ones that felt like sunshine.
Why save a greeting card?
Cards with a simple signature are always appreciated. In our home, we like to display them on the mantle for a while. But to be keepers, greeting cards need to have something extra special. So, I had an idea for creating a line of greeting cards that makes it easy to design something extraordinary.

That’s why I created Word Sunshine—to give people a chance to craft their own cards. The idea is to use your unique style. Whether you use words or add an artistic flair–or both! – you design the final version. It’s your chance to make memories!
When I told my husband about my idea, he jumped on board, ultimately creating our new website while I designed cards. Teamwork at its best!
Personalized greeting cards
Our 5 X 7 blank greeting cards are made from 100 lb white cardstock, with our signature sunshine yellow envelopes, and provide just enough words to get you started. We have cards to spread sunshine, say thanks, or wish happy birthdays. We have the words you need to send care and compassion in difficult times or life lessons. There are even cards specially designed for kids to start the habit of sending greeting cards and practicing gratitude.
